Our Autumn Show on 29th September proved to be our most popular show this year, receiving over 150 exhibits of a varied nature including Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers, Cookery, Floral Art, Photography and Children’s entries.
The Show Secretary commented “Having taken over the role of Show Secretary this year, following the retirement of the previous Show Secretary with his 20 years of service, these will be some big shoes to fill! I look forward to bringing fresh, new ideas to the show bench and welcome new and experienced exhibitors.”
The Judges noted the quality of the exhibits and they are looking forward to returning to River Gardeners’ next year!
The Chairman commented “For a successful show you need exhibitors, visitors and a hard working and enthusiastic committee, at this show we achieved all three making it our most successful show of the year and we look forward to improving upon it next year.”
